My Maytag heavy duty stackable dryer stopped turning due to a broken belt. The machine worked perfectly until the belt broke. I replaced the belt, put the machine back together and turned on the electricity. The buttons on the touch pad light up, and turn off, but don't do anything. Neither the washer or the dryer appears to be connected to the touch pad. I checked to make sure no wires had come loose or disconnected. Is there a fuse or reset button that is responsible for the lack of communication?

Make sure your breaker is not tripped. It is weird that both the washer and dryer do not work. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
