Default How to replace tension pulley
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: dpxq473et2ww
Age: 5 - 10 years

when trying to replace a broken belt my tension pulley arm was in the bottom of my dryer I have no idea nor can I find how to get it back where it belongs please help i'm very frustrated thanks kstratz

Part 3221 in this diagram is your pulley. Maybe you can figure it out from this.

There are usually a couple hooks on the dryer base or the motor mount bracket to hold the idler rod. Unless you have the dryer opened up you may have to use a small mirror to see them
