If your dryer has a relatively large idler pully you have the old style. Just put the belt around the drum with the flat side down against the drum. Make sure it is not in the grouve in the drum.
Now there is only one way to rout the belt around the idler pully for proper tension.

You should be behind the dryer, where the little panel is take it off, and put the belt under the motor pully first, and then grab the belt, and create a loop with what is left of the belt, and put it around the white idler pully, with the belt fitting undernear the metal portion of the idler pully, that is at about 2 o'clock when you are looking at it. If you get the belt on, you still have to diagnose the product. Turn it on for a minute, and the shut it off, if it still make a noise after it shuts off repace the blower whell. If not replace the rollers, idler pully, and belt
Good luck Tom T. PAONE's APPLIANCE SALES & SERVICE GUIDE
