Default How do get the back cover off
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: dbsr453eboww
Age: 5 - 10 years

We are trying to check the fuses and the heating element on my dryer which is running, but it is not heating.

We can not figure out how to get the back cover off. We took the screws out, and it did not seem to go up, down or side to side!

Can anyone help!! Is there schematics for it?

Thanks in advance

You hafe to go through the front of the machine to access all that you need!!!!!!!
lift the top, two screws in the front top left and right corners, remove front panel, remove belt, and pull tumbler out.

In order to check your heater you need to first pull one wire off of either side and do a continuity test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
