Question NO HEAT "Is it the highlimit thermal switch/ fuse?/ or the heating element

Age: 5 - 10 years

hello im looking to find out if the heating element has gone bad(do they sell just the element without the housing assembly?) (doesn't seem to be by looking at it ) or is it the high limit thermo, or is it the thermostat fuse switch this would save me ordering the wrong part which is a 70 dollar difference thanks PS SOMEONE HELP ME THE WIFE IS GOING UP THE WALL THANKS

The element does not come by itself. The high limit thermostat sits on top of the housing. If you don't have a meter that your checking this with, you are only guessing. It will cost you more that way. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
