Depending on your Amana, if you look down on the bottom front, left hand corner do you see a screw down there? If so take it out, and then there will be one on the right too. Then pull the bottom out to you and then the top will drop out. Then if you lay down on your stomach, and look in the back left hand corner of the dryer, you will see the element assembly. It is held in by 2 5/16 screws. Take them out, and slide the whole assembly down and to you, the wires are long enough to pull the assembly to the front. If it is a different model, and you don't see the screws in the front, you have to put a screw driver under the top on the left hand side, and pop it up, and then do the same on the rightside. Then inside the front panel on the top left side and the top right side is a 5/16s screw, take it out, and then remove the front. That should do you right.
