Exclamation HELP! I've tried everything (I think!)
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LER5644JQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

I posted yesterday about my Whirlpool dryer. It runs fine but doesn't heat up!

Today I thought I found the problem in the timer...I thought there was a bad connection but it turns out there is not.

So, where do I go from here?

I'm an ameteur at repairing things and I've been using this site to guide me. (It's very helpful btw!) I have no clue what to even check now! It's getting frusterating!

In case you do not read my prior post:
I've checked the fuses (in the dryer AND in the breaker box), I've checked the heating element, I've checked the thermostat and I've checked the cord/voltage going to the dryer. Everything reads ok!

You might have a bad timer. Turn timer to a heated cycle. Check between the two heavy gage wires going to the timer, usually black and red. If voltage=bad timer.
Also check for burnt wires at the motor, usually both red.
