Unhappy Have to run each load 2-3 times to dry!
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LER3624EQ1
Age: 1 - 4 years

The vent is not clogged; lint trap is clean; apartment neighbors have no problems... leads me to believe it's a heating element.

Only problem is, when I check it 10-15 mins after I start it, it's warm, in there. The clothes just never dry.

Please help me not stay up past midnight when I just want to do 2-3 loads of laundry!!!

Your coils in your heating element could have burned in 2, and one end welded it self to the metal heater case, thus cutting your heating temperature in half.
remove the heater box and take it apart and inspect for broken coils

I can order the part of what ever it is, but need to know how i tell what the coil is and how would i know if it is broken or not? same model number as yours

Before you monkey with the heating coils, check the air flow. Turn it on and go outside to the vent and hold your hand under it. If you don't feel hot air, you need to clean the vent and/or check for any pinchpoints in the duct.
