Hello! I have a Gibson dryer that stopped working, will not power on at all. I've tested the socket and there is power to that. When I pulled the dryer out, I noticed that there was a brown dark spot in the upper middle, as if something had "burnt", so to speak. I can't seem to find a schematic online to see how to remove the back to see what it might be. Any thoughts? I read some things about how it might be the thermal fuse but that brown, burnt looking spot concerns me. Thank you!

If you were to pop the top up on the dryer on the right hand side up top, you will see the thermal fuse. It will be the size of a dime with two wires coming to it.
