Default GE Profile Wiring to Timer
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DPXH46EA0CC
Age: 1 - 4 years

I had my timer stolen from my dryer by a repairman... really. I've gotten a replacement timr, but it didn't come with the wiring schema, and GE won't help me (they want to send a technician out for $70 to tell me how much he'd charge to wire it himself). Anyone know how I can get a wiring schema for the timer, or which wires go to which connections? There are 8 color-codes wires, and the connections on the timer are labeled by letter.

doesn't the timer have color codes right next to the plugs?

>color codes

No. All black plastic, with letter codes. I don't have it in front of me (it's 'installed' right now, just not wired), but I know one side has A, B, and C, and the other side (and two near the bottom) I think have H and X and others. Some of the terminals have tabs for two wires to connect.

I've read in other posts that the control panel might have a wiring diagram, but I don't see anything on the panel (front or back).

GE's helpline was no help.
