Default GE Profile Electric Dryer Problem
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DPGT750EC1WW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Dryer stopped working, drum tumbles, but dc motor for blower wont run. Test mode shows problem with inlet thermistor, outlet thermistor, blower not coming up to speed and problem with heater box. I checked dc motor and found no shorts or opens in windings, checked ohm readings on both thermistors, all temp relays and test jumpered heating coils.

I had to good operations of dryer and then back to square one... I am leaning toward a defective power inverter board, but would like to prove it before ordering a 300 dollar circuit board.

Any thoughts and ideas are welcome....thank you...KLR

What did you get for a reading on the thermistors.

Here is a link to the parts of your dryer model DPGT750EC1WW.

Hello , thermistors were within specs...turned out to be a bad dc blower motor, windings all checked at 14 ohms so without a circuit print on motor I'm guessing the problem was in the feedback circuit in motor. Thanks for responding...KLR
