Model Number: DDE7900MCLAD
Age: 5 - 10 years

This dryer gets to hot even on low setting. How do you test for a bad thermostst?

Measure the temperature at the output vent of dryer, should be around 150 degrees. If higher, replace it.
Verify no heating element is shorted to ground.
