Try timed dry, now does the timer move? It uses different timer contacts and a different circuit path than AutoDry.
Try a low temp setting, does the heater cycle correctly?
Check the resistor in the control panel, should be around 4 kilohm.
On AutoDry timer moves when heater is off, the resistor drops the 220 volts to 120 for the timer motor, so if heater never shuts off the timer will not advance.
If on AutoDry Air only timer does not advance then it is either the timer or the resistor. Check to make sure the heater stays off. |
