Loud Noise / Black powder (like graphite powder) on inside of door

Default Loud Noise / Black powder (like graphite powder) on inside of door

My GE (model dbxr453gt2ww) has been making a similar loud noise for a long time, and I have been ignoring it until now. (Perhaps I ignored it too long.)

Now there is black powder (just like graphite lubricant) that accumulates on the inside of the dryer door near the top. Clothes are also getting caught on the plastic parts between the drum and the door, and getting black marks because of the powder.

Does anyone have an idea what may be the source (and solution) for the black powder? And for the noise?

The drum (metal) is rubbing against the door instead of the drum glides, usually placed on the door opening which supports the drum glides. This causes black powder and an excessive amount of noise. Just replace the drum glides and your problems will be over for a long time.
