Default GE Dryer Issue
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DBXR453EV0WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

The timer seems to work in timed drying only, not in Automatic mode. When left in Auto mode and not running, the entire dryer becomes very hot. This doesn't happen if the dial is in the timed range. Is this an issue with the operating thermostat? If so, is that something I can replace myself?

Thanks!
