Default GE Dryer Drum Loose
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DH43
Age: 1 - 4 years

Our dryer is leaving stains on our clothes where the cloth gets caught between the drum and the felt guides. The drum itself is loose. Took the top off and found, near the front, a white plastic piece broke off. An identical piece is attached to the other side (on top of the felt) which the drum rolls over.

How much is this gonna' cost me to have repaired?

It sound like the drum bearing assembly needs to be replaced.

Can you please provide your model number?

It is located on a tag in the opening of the door.

I appreciate any help. The model # is DH43EW0WW, a GE Spacemaker dryer.

Here is a link to your dryer model DH43EW0WW.

The front glide and upper and lower felt seals likely have to be replaced.

The glide is number 1124 on the cabinet and drum breakdown.

The felts are numbers 1120 and 1121 on the front panel and door breakdown.

You should check the rear drum bearing before you order your parts.

The rear bearing is number 1201 on the cabinet and drum breakdown.
