Default GE Dryer Buzzing
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DBL333EA1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Dryer just suddenly stopped working. After loading and making sure the door is shut, when you turn the start switch (the spring like kind) it makes a low buzzing or low humming sound and the dryer doesn't run.
Is this the switch?

Thanks,
DianaGail

It is like the motor that has failed.

Check and make sure that there is nothing stopping the blower wheel from turning.

Turn the drum by hand to see if it will move.

Here is a link to your dryer model DBL333EA1WW.
