I have a GE 5.7 capacity dryer that will not start. It has not been used for 4 years. I attached the electric cord, plug it in and it turned on 2 days ago. Now it will not start. The light comes on in the drum and the breaker is not tripped. Where do I look for the problem and how to fix?

Probably the thermal fuse that is mounted under the top on the right hand side. Without the model # it is hard to tell. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
