Gas Dryer won't ignite.
Brand:
Kenmore
Model Number:
87980800
Age:
More than 10 years
My water heater and dryer run off of the same gas line. Last night the pilot went out on the water heater and the dryer won't ignite. I just re-light the pilot on the water heater but the dryer will not ignite.

I would seem to be a problem with the gas supply.
Is the water heater working now?

Check to see if you are getting power to the igniter.
If you are getting power to the igniter check the resistance of it.
The resistance should be between 50 and 500 ohms.

dryer model 11087980800
