Default Gas dryer won't dry as good anymore
Brand: Amana
Model Number: DLG 330 RAW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have an Amana gas dryer about 5 years old. The burner will come on and run about 7-8 minutes and then kicks off and will continue to kick off and on as I would think it should do, however it simply is'nt drying the way that it used to do. I have replaced the thermal disc on the fire box but can't see that it has done any good. I have also checked the exhaust hose and took the blower fan box apart and can't find any blockage.. The timer has also stopped advancing on the Regular mode but works in other settings. I had the appliance parts man check the little sensor or thermastat on the blower box and it checked o.k. also.

Any information you could forward to me in which direction to go next would greatly be appreciated.

THANKS
Tony.
