Gas Dryer will not heat

Default Gas Dryer will not heat
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LGA30AW
Age: More than 10 years
Dryer does not heat up. Glow coil does glow but no gas is released to heat the dryer. Would it be the flame sensor that is failed or the gas valve.

Try the coils that operate the gas control (2 coils)

If you have an ohm meter, check the flame sensor first. Or, you can actually jump it out, before you go through the expence of changing out the coils. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
