Hi. my gas kitchenaid dryer stopped heating but still runs. replaced the gas dryer sensor thinking it was that still the same. gas flow is fine. help thanks

Take the back panel off, and look for a small white piece, that is an inch and a half long, and a half inch wide, with 2 wires coming to it. Make sure the dryer is unplugged when you do this. Take the two wires off, and put them together, and put a little tape around them. Then plug it in, if it works, that part is a thermal fuse. Replace it.If it does not work replace the ignitor. WoW! Turn right on. All i have to change is the thermal fuse. thanks:
