Default Gas Dryer Flame cuts out
Brand: Speed Queen
Model Number: kgd599w-3058
Age: 5 - 10 years

Our Speed Queen gas dryer flame cuts out after a few minutes and will only re-ignite after a short rest with the machine off and then a re-start. The vent is new Amana flexi alloy tube kit with a booster fan at the end. Thermostat replaced and checks ok.

This could be something in the area of parts called the high limit switch. Unless you are seasoned with real experience in testing and replacing parts of this nature, it is best to call a qualified person.
