Cool Gas dryer assistance
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: dwxr483
Age: 1 - 4 years

I am needing to know how to remove the back cover of the dryer in order to get to the wheels in the back. Dryer has been making grinding noise only when in a certain position. Can move it around and the grinding noise stops through all cycles. We were told that it could be these wheels in the back of the unit, but cannot figure out how to remove back panel.

Your dryer does not have whells. It has a rear bearing. The wholr dryer has to come apart from the front. I would need a full model #, and I could be reached at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
