Default Gas dryer
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LG8409W/L2
Age: More than 10 years

Gas dryer heats and tumbles but takes twice as long to dry the clothes. Left side of the dryer feels warm on the outside but the right side of the dryer does not.
Is it time to replace the dryer or is repair possible?

It sounds like your vent may be blocked.

The heat duct is on the left side of the dryer.

Here is a link to your dryer model LG8409W.
