the dryer starts up, i have flame at this point, runs for thirty seconds and the flame shuts off and stays off until i stop it. retry try it and the same thing happens. help

This should be looked at by a qualified gas technician.

I have the same White Westinghouse dryer Model # and mine just started doing the exact same thing.

Has been hooked up running working in this house for approximately 1 year now.

I'm new to DIY repair but plenty mechanically adept in other areas so I'm determined to figure this one out. Any help is appreciated.

You Have To Call A Cirtified Gas Tech, One Mistake On Your Part Could Burn Your Home Down!!! Call A Tech

the dryer would sometimes ignite but most of the time it wouldnt. i ended up being the coils the two black barrels replaced them and it works
