Cool G.E Dryer wont start
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DDE7608MAL-WH

My dryer will not start. I checked the continuity on the switch, and also on the door switch and both seem to be OK. With the dryer unplugged I bridged the (2 ) wires off the start switch and got a complete circut back. Any ideas whether this has a thermal fuse and whre I can find it, or what may be wrong. Thanks!

This looks like an older dryer.

Here's a link to the section of the dryer that I think is giving you problems:

It's probably a thermal overload in the motor, which means that the whole motor will probably have to be replaced.
