Default Frigidaire Stackables - bah humbug!!
Model Number: GLE1041AS1
Age: 1 - 4 years

The silliest and most aggrevating problem of all! I can't keep knobs on this silly control panel. Everytime I turn around one breaks off in my hand. They seem to be made of plastic with a metal retaining ring but they crack down the sides. I keep buyting new ones which gets expensive but the aggrivation in even worse! The dryer control knob is the worst as it is rather stiff. Any suggestions other than a different manufacturer?

One solution, go to your local appliance store and ask for access to their junk. If ok grab the best looking knobs with the same d shaped hole.
