Default Frigidaire Squeaks
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDE546RESO
Age: More than 10 years

Our dryer just started squeaking. It started gradual, but now it squeaks every time we use it. Squeak, squeak, squeak.... A short squeak every revolution. Can you give me an idea and a link?
Thanks.....

What you need is the rear bearing kit. If you are going to take the time to take your dryer all the way apart, you might as well replace the belt, and the idler pully. If you need me to walk you through the repair, I can be reached at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Thanks kayakcrzy (Tom),
I'm fairly mechanical so I believe I can repair this myself. I hate to take up your time to walk me through it. Is there a link that I could refer to? I will refer to your website.
Thanks again Tom......
Fred
