Default Frigidaire Dryer will not tumble
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FEQ1442ES0
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi,

Recently, out of frustration, I slammed the door of my Frigidaire dryer. I blew out the drum light (I replaced that) and did something else to it that I cannot figure out:

I can set my dryer and press start, but the thing won't tumble. All I hear is a single click from the area of the timer, but the dryer won't tumble. What should I do? I already tested the thermal limiter and the door switch for continuity.

Thank you to whomever answers this.

Sincerely,
histand

did you slam the door because the dryer was not working or is the dryer not working because you slamed the door

I slammed the door which caused the dryer not to work at the beginning.

did you check the start switch? and door slamming (depending on how hard you slammed) should've only buggered up the door switch.
