Question Frigidaire dryer start knob broken
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDBE23RGS1
Age: 5 - 10 years

I broke my frigidaire dryer knob by accident the knob is fine, the problem is the plastic post that hold the knob, is broken and one part still on the start selector. can you explain to me how to take out the post remaining in the dryer and which part i had to buy? thanks,

The start switch will have to be replaced.

Can you please verify your model number as I can't locate it in our database?

Is this a Canadian model?

I found and bought the start switch now, how i install the switch on my dryer.

You will have to remove the control panel but because I can not bring your model number up I don't know what your looks like to tell you how to take it off.

Where did you find your part?

Here is the breakdown of your dryer model FDEB23RGS1.

Unplug your dryer and remove the screw on the back of the control panel.

If there are no screw behind where the knob was there will be some on the inside.

Make sure you mark down where the wire go.
