Default Frigdaire Dryers Squeak Driving Me INSANE
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDE336RES0
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have had this dryer for about 2 years I got it used from a friend. The Dryer has been squeking for a while, but today it is unbearable. Help me solve this problem, or tell me if it is easier an cheaper to buy a new one they are on sale today for 239.99 please asap

Drum support bearings part 12 on this diagram. Could also be the felt guide.diagram.Frigidaire FDE336RES0 Parts List

You can pry the top up to access the area and try to pinpoint the squeak.

Here's the part and info on how to replace based on customers.

It could be the rear drum bearing. If it is the easy one. look behind the dryer back, right in the middle, if there is a small hole and a small rectangled plate with the end of 2 screws coming out the back, go to Lowes, and squirt a bunch of Lithium greese it that area. If not there is a good possibility that all you need is some front pads that the tub rides on. If you need a new one let me know.
