Default End of Cycle Siganl Buzzer
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DBSR453EB0WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Does anyone know if I can remove the end of cycle siganl buzzer from this model without it causing problems? I would wrap up the wire ends. Would I need a resistor in its place or can I simply disconnect it?

It doesn't look like it is essential to operation in the wiring diagram.

unplug the product, and clip the buzzer wires, and then wire nut or tape each end individually. Tom T. PAONE's APPLIANCE SALES & SERVICE GUIDE

I would disconnect it
A resistor will not be required
Just do a good job taping up the ends or you will end up with an ARC & SPARK

Thanks. Seems to work fine with it unhooked.
