Model Number: MDE6465AYW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I'D to change the 4 pos. rotary temp.s .but now you start the cycel it will run the cycel . but the timer kepts ticking what could be the problem

I'm Sorry About That .what I Meant Was The Dryer Would Run Thru It's Cycles And Stop But The Timer Would Keep Going Around . The Olny Way To Stop The Timer From Advancings Is To Unplug It.

There's every chance that the contact's(points)in the timer that powers the timer motor, have welded themselves together, so the motor won't shut off, if so you need a new timer
