Red face Electric Dryer Won't Heat
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DBSR453EB1WW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Ok, I do appologize for yet another thread of the same topic but I am really stumped!! I have checked all things that seam to be the possible problem. I have tested the element, thermostats, the hi-thermo limit thing, and I have tested the timer switch. Now that one does come with a disclaimer, not exactly sure the timer got tested right but the A and B post , which is heat if I read corretly, ohm-ed out fine. When I was taking the wires off the timer, one came off with too much ease, could it have simply been a loose wire all this time? Can a timer wire just get loose like that? Sorry to be so lengthy, I appreciate any feed back thanks!!!!

Oh yah, the breakers have been tested and if I have a thermal fuse I can't find it!

Broken belt and dryer will not run! You will need a meter to check things.

The dryer runs perfect, cycles, whole nine yards, it just does not heat, haven't checked anything about a belt switch though. What is that all about?

Just unplug every thing you ohm test before testing. All compnents except heater should be near zero ohms.
