Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer sqeeks and squeals all the time it gets louder. We have checked the motor, ideler pulley and have lubed every thing. What else can we check?

Probably a rear bearing if it squeaks badly then lub aint gonna do it any good, have to be replaced!!

Yes it is probably the drum bearing
Sometimes a little oil through the access cover at the rear will lessen the noise.
This just confirms that this bearing is the problem and it is not a real fix so you still have to dismantle the unit.
Things to be careful of are:
Not too much oil you are in the center of your heating element
Watch out for the ball bearing, it likes to jump out and then play hide and seek

Here is your parts breakdown
Frigidaire FDE546RES1

You will see that in the Cabinet/Drum section they sell a kit for bearing replacement,

If you open it up and the parts look good (just the grease has dried out), then give it a good cleaning and re-grease using a high temp grease.
