After one load ended in the dryer, reloaded the dryer from the washer and the dryer won't start. I get just an electric buzzing sound. Sounds like the motor is locked up or something. I've never worked on a dryer before so I have no idea what it might be. Any thoughts?

If the buzz is from the motor probably one of two causes

1. Jammed
Try turning the drum by hand, it should turn fairly easily.

2. Blown motor - may need two people
Open the door
Manually hold the door switch closed
Push the start button
Manually rotate the drum in the correct direction
Watch your knuckles in case it starts up
If it start up you have a motor problem either the motor's start winding is blown or the run/start centrifugal switch is not operating correctly.
