Dyer won't start and buzzes when start button is depressed. I have attempted to assist it by turning the drum while depresing start button. It initally would start however, now it won't. I checked the bearings, front slide pads and motor all look good. I cleaned the motor and inspected for burnt windings. None obsevered. Any ideas? Is it a bad motor?

It sound like initially the start winding was opened. Now the run winding is also opened.

The winding may not look bad when they are opened.

You will have to replace the motor.

You may also want to check your thermal fuses
May have blown one of them with a motor overload
