Default Dyer doesn't seem to get hot enough
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: lec8858eq2
Age: More than 10 years

When the dryer was new, it only took 45-55 min. to dry a heavy load. Now it takes 70 min. or more. The element comes on but doesn't seem to get as hot as it used to on the high heat setting. I ordered and installed the CUTOFF-TML (Thermal Cut-Off Kit) , cleaned the vent, cleaned and vacuumed out the back. It still takes too long to dry clothes. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

I would check the outside of the house where it is vented out and see if there is any blockage or buildup
