Question Drys clothes partially
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: CYE2000AYW
Age: 5 - 10 years

When the dryer first starts the heater coil comes on, and then it cuts off. It makes me think it is the thermostat is cutting it off. What do you think?

Default

could be a weak set of coils on the valve. dose the dryer restart and do the same thing if so you may have a blocked vent and the high limit is tripping

Question Clothes dry partially

I replaced the thermostat and the high limit switch, and cleaned out any lint I could find. It still does not act right. Clothes still seem wet, even when it is a lite load.
