Unhappy Dryer won't turn on
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: Kirkland Signature
Age: 1 - 4 years

A wire hanger got stuck right underneath the timer/selector knob. My wife pried it out while the dryer was still on. There was a short with a pop and a flash. Now the dryer won't start. Do I need to replace the timer piece since that's where the hanger was inserted or is there a fuse somewhere that needs to be replaced? Can I still fix the dryer? Please help. Thank you
