Dryer ran for about 20 min last night on a 50 min cycle - I restarted it and it ran for about 3 minutes - now it won't turn on at all. The circuit breaker is fine, the light inside the dryer is on - but no drying is happening.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like your motor is going sour and shutting down on it's overload. It will delay re-start for severl minutes= a good indication of bad motor.
