My dryer wont stop in the automatic setting but does in the timed dry settings. I think it may be the resistor but am not sure. can someone please help me.

It could be a few things. It could be the internal bias thermostat. It is located in the back. Take the back panel off, and in the middle you will see the thermostat. It has 4 wires coming to it. The part # is 3387134. It could also be a timer. But, I would go with the thermostat, provided the vent is clear to the outside. It should blow really well to the outside. possably it is thermostat
