dryer will not stop on auto dry. will stop on timed dry

One of your heaters is blown open. Just pull apart and check.

How do I pull apart the heaters? Should I have a repairman doit?

If you have no meter, it's advisable to have it repaired by a pro.

check venting to make sure it is clear. and check area under lint screen
