When I pushed the start buttonon my dryer it would not start. I can hear the ticking of the timer and the light works inside the dryer. I am thinking that I need a part called "relay-pts". do you think this is correct? Is this an easy repair to do myself?

Ck to see if you have 240 Volts at the wall socket, ck the thermal fuse on blower housing, if it is blown motor won't start, ck start button for bad switch. Bettyboop

I have a Whirlpool Duet dryer almost 2 yrs. old, have to push the control on button
about 50 times, sometimes more, then it will start and dry just fine, but it won't
turn off until the cycle is done even if you push the cancel button. It starts as
soon as I push the control on button, I don't even have to push the start button.
When it decides to turn on, I can't even set the temperature it's just on till the
load is done. Any ideas?
