Default Dryer won't start...showing code 'do'
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDG5500AWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi, the orginal problem started out with the control board which is now replaced. The new control board displayed code 'do' or 'd0' and the dryer would not start. All the setting button can be set correctly. but when press 'start' button, nothing happens.
What is code 'do' mean? or what can be the problem?

Thank for all the advice.

Problem solved.... the new replacement board actually displayed 'do' for 'door' is open which is different from the original control board. The cuprit is bad contact on the door switch. The switch was removed clean and reinstalled. The code 'do' is clear when door is closed and the dryer work normally.
