I have a stackable maytag lle7806ace. When I adjust the temp. control on the dryer and push the start button the dryer will not start and I only get the finish buzzer goes off. This just started when I opened the door to check the clothes and shut the the door and hit the start button. The dryer will not start now. Please advise if you have any suggestions.

Try moving the timer to a different setting.

If the dryer still will not start check your fuses or breakers.

If this does not fix your problem you will have to have a technician look at it.
