Dryer won't start after overworking it Brand: Whirlpool Model Number: WED5700SW Age: Less than 1 year Hi Everyone,
We bought this dryer less than six months ago and lately it hasn't been drying things as quickly as it did at first. A few days ago I attempted to dry a large pillow that was very wet and I should have tried to squeeze more water out of.. (not smart, I know )
The dryer would work for five or ten minutes then cut out. I restarted it several times until it wouldn't start and the light didn't even come on. I left it alone and gave up on the pillow. A couple hours later it worked again but when I tried drying a regular load it stopped working again and it hasn't come back from the dead yet.
The light won't come on even. Any ideas on what the problem could be? We just bought this thing .. |
