Default Dryer wont start
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: ade7005awy
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have this dryer its about a year and a half old. It was running fine stopped in the middle of a load and now wont come on at all. I really have no knowledge of appliance but am pretty good and fixing stuff. I have built computers for the past 8 years so I know alot about putting and taking stuff apart. what could be the prob. here?

Default same problem

We have the same problem - nothing happens when we push to start it. Similar dryer - Admiral Capacity Plus, a couple years old (less than 5).

Any ideas on things to check out?

I am not sure myself. Is your dryer under warranty?

Default warranty

I highly doubt it. We bought a cheap model, and it's been several years. I'm assuming it's only a year mfr warranty, so long gone. I'm afraid it would cost more to get it repaired than we originally paid for it...
