I replaced the timer because the motor wouldn't run and it still will not start. I put a wet towel in the dryer against the sensor and turned it to more dry, selected medium heat and when I pushed the start button the two red lights light up but nothing happens. what should I check next.

Check the voltage at the dryer plug you should have 240 volts.

If you have 240 volts check the thermal fuse that is on the element housing for continuity.

If the fuse is open check the vent for a blockage.
